Introduction
Did
this get your attention?
Effective
storytelling is a fine and beautiful art: the tale you tell will be remembered
long after other orations. In fact, you may recall learning in law school that
storytelling is one of the strongest non-violent methods of persuasion - the
better storyteller you are, the better you
can influence others. Certainly your favourite fiction author has mastered this
skill.
What You Will Learn
Although
storytelling is an art, there are skills, tools, and techniques that can be
learned in order to develop the talent - both orally and in writing. To be
successful, litigators and corporate lawyers must master the art of narrative
writing.
Presented
by globally acclaimed speaker Steven Stark, MBL's two hour webcast will show
you how to pump up your legal works using techniques borrowed from fiction
writing. You, too, can make your legal briefs, arguments, letters, memos, and
emails almost as compelling and thought provoking as the NY Times Best Seller
that you can't put down!
